Engagement Terms
These terms apply when you order a diagnostic online or by invoice, and to any engagement until a written proposal or agreement replaces them. They are written to be read, not deciphered. Larger engagements are governed by a signed proposal that may add to or replace them.
1. What you are purchasing
| Engagement | Price | You receive | Delivery |
|---|---|---|---|
| AI Opportunity Audit | US$4,500 fixed | Structured intake, limited document review, opportunity scorecard (value, feasibility, risk), prioritised workflow list, one recommended first project, written readout, one review call. One business function. | 5 business days from complete intake and cleared payment |
| Business AI Roadmap | US$7,500–15,000 | Company-wide discovery and mapping, inventories and readiness review, architecture map, costed build recommendation, delivery roadmap, executive readout. | 10–15 business days from kick-off and cleared payment |
| Investor Narrative Sprint | From US$15,000 | Positioning memo, narrative architecture, investor or partner deck, one-page summary, objection map and rehearsal. Scope fixed in writing before start. | 3–5 weeks, as scoped |
| Build & Deploy | US$35,000–85,000; enterprise from US$100,000 | Per written proposal and acceptance tests. | 6–12 weeks, as scoped |
The Audit and the Roadmap are diagnostics, not production builds. They include no live integrations, no deployment and no consequential actions. Example figures in readouts are illustrative unless stated otherwise.
2. Price and payment
- All prices are in US dollars. Taxes are additional where applicable.
- Diagnostics and sprints are paid in advance: by card where a payment link is offered, or by invoice due on receipt.
- Implementations are billed 40% on commissioning, 30% when the core layer is operational and 30% after acceptance testing. Changes are agreed by written change control.
- Third-party software, model usage, cloud infrastructure, telephony, licensing, specialist services, travel and external professional fees are additional unless expressly included, and are set up and billed in your name.
3. Timing
Delivery clocks start when two things are true: your intake is complete and your payment has cleared. "Complete" means the questionnaire returned and the documents or access we listed provided in usable form. If information arrives late or incomplete, the clock pauses; it does not reset. Timelines also depend on timely access to decision-makers.
4. What we need from you
- One accountable contact who can answer questions and make decisions within the engagement.
- The intake questionnaire returned within 30 days of ordering. After 30 days an unreturned order lapses and is refunded in full.
- Documents and access shared by secure link, not by email where avoidable. We never need passwords; read-only access and revocable keys are sufficient.
5. Cancellation and refunds
- Before you return the intake questionnaire: cancel at any time for a full refund, less any card-processing fee charged to us.
- After intake is received and work has started: the fee is not refundable, because the work is largely done in the first days. It remains creditable as described in section 6.
- If we cannot deliver for a reason on our side, you receive a full refund.
- If, after intake, we conclude the engagement is not a fit, we say so and refund in full rather than deliver a readout of no use to you.
6. Credits between steps
The Audit fee is credited in full against a Roadmap commissioned within 30 days of the Audit readout. The Roadmap fee is credited in full against an implementation of US$50,000 or more, and half against US$35,000–49,999, commissioned within 60 days of the Roadmap readout. Credits apply once, to the next step only, and are not cash refunds.
Worked example: Audit US$4,500; Roadmap at US$9,500, Audit credited, you pay US$5,000; implementation at US$60,000, Roadmap credited, you pay US$50,500. Total US$60,000.
7. Confidentiality
We treat everything you share as confidential, use it only for the engagement, and delete it on request at the end. A mutual non-disclosure agreement is available before intake if you prefer. We do not name clients or describe their work publicly without written permission.
8. Ownership
You own the readout, roadmap, materials and — for builds — the knowledge base, workflows, agent instructions, configuration, records and documentation created for you. Quantum Cumulative retains its general methods, templates and non-client-specific components. Third-party platforms remain subject to their own terms.
9. What we do not do
Our work supports your team's decisions. It is not legal, accounting, tax, clinical or investment advice. In investor and partner communication work we prepare materials and communication; we do not raise capital, solicit investors, hold funds, or take a percentage of any raise.
10. Liability
Our total liability for an engagement is limited to the fees you have paid for it. Neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Governing law and changes
The governing law and venue are stated on your invoice or proposal. We may update these terms for future orders; the version shown when you order applies to that order. Questions: andre@quantumcumulative.com.
These are plain-language terms for diagnostics and sprints ordered through this site. Larger engagements receive a signed proposal with a defined acceptance test, data-processing terms and a liability cap.
